Comparing and Evaluating the Google Search Appliance
 
This one-day class introduces managers, decision makers, and technical personnel to Google's enterprise search initiatives. The class teaches the fundamentals of Google's approach to enterprise search, reviews the strengths and weaknesses of the Google Appliance and the Google Desktop Search for Enterprise approach to search, compares Google's enterprise solutions with other leading enterprise search engines; and gives participants a hands-on opportunity to run test searches, change indexing schedules, and perform basic system functions.

Course Prerequisites
This course is for people who are new to Google's enterprise search tools, or are evaluating the use or impact of such tools in their organization. No prior experience with enterprise search is required.
